Alan used his emotive, energetic vocal range and his unique tone and cadence to narrate my epic fantasy novels in the Astar’s Blade series. Working with Alan is truly to work with a talented sonic actor who gives an amazing live action audio performance. Working with Alan has been a positive experience from day one. After listening to the auditions of 20 other people, he was a clear choice because I loved his accent, voice tonality, pausing for effect, and the overall feel of having him read the intro to my book—Epic, to say the least. If you are an audiophile (like I am), you will notice that Alan's recordings are crisp and clean compared to other narrators because Alan has a complete recording studio, meaning that you can expect professional-level recordings with zero distortion. I am a perfectionist by nature in my work, so I expected that of Alan as well, and he did not disappoint. Numerous times I asked him to change the pronunciation of a word, and he did just that without complaining. My book "Serpent Rising: The Kundalini Compendium" is all about the Kundalini and Yoga, and there are a lot of technical terms in various languages, especially Sanskrit. Alan would spend hours researching how to pronounce something to get it just right. By the end of the project, he was pronouncing words and terms better than me, earning his nickname "Guru Alan." I was so impressed with the final product that I immediately got him to do my second book. Overall, working with him was an incredible experience, and I look forward to having him do my future books as they come out. Thanks Alan!
